HLT 261 - Basic Pharmacy I

Credits: 3

Explores the basics of general pharmacy, reading prescriptions, symbols, packages, pharmacy calculations. Teaches measuring compounds of drugs, dosage forms, drug laws, and drug classifications. Part I of II.

Lecture 3 hours per week.
Prerequisites: A placement of ENF 3  or ENG 111  and MTT 0 - Module 1 Operations With Positive Fractions -MTT 0 - Module 3 Algebra Basics ; Co-requisites: MTH 133 , HLT 263 .
