Length: 62-63 Credits
Purpose: The Associate of Science - Health Sciences degree is designed for the student who plans to transfer and pursue a bachelor’s degree in the area of Health Sciences, Health Promotion, Health Education, or Nursing. The degree pathways include: Health Sciences or Pre-BSN.
Program Outcomes: The student will be able to:
- demonstrate minimum proficiency in General Education Skills which are defined as oral communication, written communication, mathematical/problem-solving, scienctific reasoning, information literacy, and critical thinking
- demonstrate competency in identifying human organs and listing specific functions of organs that make up organ systems
- identify the path taken by nutrients as they travel through the digestive system
- identify relative growth and development milestones for ages across the life span

Select either Pre-BSN or Health Sciences, do not interchange.
